Biography

Alejandro Fernández, born in Bogota, Colombia in 1957. Political scientist, MBA and MDU of Andes University, Bogota, Colombia. Master Jonah, Licensee in Operations the TOC Way, Thinking Processes and Project CCPM from AGI (Avraham Y. Goldratt Institute) and Expert Holistic Certification by TOCICO. Since 1993 works as a business educator in TOC, through the company I have with Luz Marina Schotborgh, named Piensalo Colombia, which means think about it Colombia. In the year 2000 I was appointed as the Regional Director of Goldratt Schools for Latin America, and we have made several programs of training for consultants TOC with recognized international experts, as well as open educational programs with the collaboration of the following Universities in Colombia: Externado, Uninorte, Javeriana, Bosque. Responded to the request that Eli Goldratt did me in São Paulo in 1992, “Will you help me write all textbooks again?”, so now I can proudly say that I have translated the following books, published by Piensalo Editions to spanish: The Ten Commandments, of Oded Cohen and Domenico Lapore, Throughput Accounting, of Thomas Corbett, Ever Improve, of Oded Cohen, WA – Management Transformation, of Yuji Kishira, The Machine, of Justin Roff Marsch. Behind the Cloud, and From Cloud to solutions, of Jelena Fedurko, DDMRP, of Chad Smith and Carol Ptak I have been working with more than 100 companies since 1993 in Processes of Ongoing Improvement, based on implementing TOC solutions for: Operations, Finance and Measurements, Projects, Supply Chain, Marketing & Sales Management, under the Strategy and Tactics approach of Harmony & Exepron & Focuss software, based on applying the TOC Thinking Processes to build and communicate common sense and generate consensus throughout the management team.
